︎︎︎Brynjar Daðason (b. 1999) is an Icelandic musician and audio engineer. He has been a familiar face in the experimental scene of Reykjavík and Berlin for the past years, partaking in many kinds of improvisations and playing on records by various artists. Brynjar went through extensive guitar studies in his teen years and went on to study composition at the Iceland University of the Arts.

In 2021 he released his debut record ‘Pretty Late’ via Mengi Records, an album of hauntingly beautiful works driven by his unique guitar playing and produced by renowned composer/bassist Skúli Sverrisson. In 2024 INNI released a collaborative score EP by him and Haraldur Thrastarson for the German medieval short ‘Roots’. 

Brynjar is currently based in Berlin and has worked on projects with composers like Gabríel Ólafs, Rebekka Karijord, Lisa Montan and Gunnar Tynes.
